Top Ten Booth Babes from E3

Some conventions ban booth babes because they show toooo much breast or toooo much cleavage or leave nottthhinnng to the imagination. Not the E3 expo, where booth babes and their lack of clothes are considered as much as part of the furniture as a Halo announcement. Here's some pictures of said booth babes as spied from around the internets... is this the top ten? What do you think?

Louis Wu plays Spartan Ops, makes me jealous.

Legendary Halo fan 'Louis Wu' got to have some hands on time with Halo 4's Spartan Ops at E3

Here's a bit of what he had to say:

"In some ways, Spartan Ops is like firefight - you have battles against computer-based enemies, with reinforcements as you clear them. In other ways... it's way beyond firefight; you aren't holding a fixed position against attacking enemies but rather are moving forward towards your goals, all of your objectives are explained with story features, the enemy variety is large, you have goals beyond "protect this area" or "clear all enemies"."

"The mission we played lasted about 5 or 6 minutes. (My second run-through was faster; I knew what needed to be cleared, and where, and where the switches to open the next areas would appear.) It's a great way to play a quick match with some friends - they're planning on releasing five of these each week, during each 'season' (5 or so weeks). There is no word on releases past Season 1 - they might continue them, they might not. (I'm guessing it depends on how popular the feature is.)"

Stuff's Matt Maguire gives his views on the run through of Gears of War 3 that he was privy to at E3.

The Gears of War series has never been known for its subtlety, so it was only fitting that Ice-T - a man with a similar reputation - was brought to a vast stage at E3 by Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski to play through a short segment of the upcoming game.

The gameplay shown took place on what appeared to be a cargo ship lost at sea and under attack by a large, tentacled creature named Leviathan - like the Lambent, a product of emulsion mutation.

All the Gears touchstones - yelling, gore, heavy gunfire and yelling - were present and in abundance as the assembled COGs formulated a plan to take out the sea-dwelling beast.

With the eight COGs present but split into two groups of four and occupying two separate sections of the stricken liner, we first saw things from the perspective of Marcus and Dom's team as they rushed to a maintenance bay to retrieve two Silverback battlesuits before tackling the Leviathan head-on.

These mini-mech suits come equipped with a Gatling gun, have stomp and kick attacks, and can deploy into a stationary turret mode which allows them to launch missiles while being used as cover by other players.

After taking some punishment and with one of its eye sockets oozing yellow goo, the Leviathan retreated, allowing the Gears to focus on smaller facehugger-like creatures swarming the decks. When the Leviathan redoubled its efforts to chew the ship to pieces, the other COG team led by Cole dumped a container of Tickers onto it, sending it to a watery grave as Marcus and Dom dove out of the way.

Bioshock Infinite Promotional Posters and more

A promotional poster for the Rolston Reciprocating Repeater

So as E3 draws closer, the producers of games seek to cash in on promoting their new games - and Irrational as taken the chance to give Bioshock: Infinite some good old fashion promotion by releasing some posters, wallpaper and a 10 minute game demo.

Here's what Irrational had to say on their official blog:

"Last week, we held a pre-E3 press event to show BioShock Infinite--you may have noticed the slew of BioShock Infinite previews and interviews hitting the web. Our preview location was plastered with ads for Columbia's various products as well as Founder propaganda. Those posters will reappear in our E3 booth and will find their way into BioShock Infinite itself.

Until then, we figured our online audience might be interested in taking a peek. Enjoy these ads for the Bucking Bronco vigor and the Rolston Reciprocating Repeater -- both usable by the player in combat. There's also a piece of Founder propaganda warning Vox Populi insurgents about the threat of the Songbird, Elizabeth's guardian and jailer previously known only as "Him.""

Here's a propaganda picture of the Songbird aka Him designed Irrational artist Jorge Lacera

Here's a picture of the Bucking Bronco Vigor, a trick up your sleeve in game. This advertisement poster and the one at the top of the post for the Rolston Reciprocating Repeater was designed by Irrational artist Mike Swiderek.

Here's some 'fan art' produced by Trailer Park which shows one of the main characters, Elizabeth with the above mentioned Songbird. It's nice to see everyone playing happy families... for now...

And finally here's a picture of a dead horse. If you're wondering why, you better check out this game play video of Bioshock: Infinite
