Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Achievements, Complete 44-Achievement Guide
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary gives the original ringworld campaign a full 1,000G Achievement route. The list tracks Master Chief’s journey from the falling Pillar of Autumn to the destruction of Installation 04, then pushes players toward harder combat challenges, hidden Terminals and campaign Skulls.
44 Achievements across the original Xbox 360 Anniversary release.
1,000G total, divided between campaign completion, mission challenges and Anniversary additions.
Campaign-only focus: the 2011 release used Halo: Reach multiplayer systems, so this list keeps its attention on Master Chief’s single-player campaign.
The original Halo campaign remains one of the strongest structured journeys in the series. It begins as a war story about the Covenant’s assault on a human ship, turns into an archaeological mystery when the Chief reaches Alpha Halo, then becomes a survival horror story after the Flood escapes containment. By the time the Warthog run begins in The Maw, the player has learned that the ring is a weapon built to starve the Flood by killing the life it needs to survive.
These Achievements are therefore more than a completion checklist. They create a route through the most important beats in Halo lore: Captain Keyes’ capture, the discovery of 343 Guilty Spark, the truth behind the Halo Array, and Cortana’s decision that destroying the ring is safer than allowing it to fire.
Legacy note: this is the original 44-Achievement Xbox 360 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary list. It is useful as a campaign guide, but it is not a complete index of every achievement available across later Master Chief Collection releases.

Anniversary Features, Terminals and Skulls
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary added hidden Terminals and campaign Skulls to an experience that originally depended on environmental storytelling and mystery. The Terminals expand the old Forerunner backstory, placing the original story in the wider history of the Flood, the Halo Array and 343 Guilty Spark’s lost past.
Read a Terminal.
Read half the Terminals hidden throughout the campaign.
Read all the Terminals hidden throughout the campaign.
Find your first campaign Skull.
Locate half of the Skulls hidden throughout the campaign.
Locate all the Skulls hidden throughout the campaign.
Complete any level with Iron and two other Skulls active at Heroic difficulty or higher.
Why the Halo Anniversary list still matters
The best part of this achievement list is its insistence that Halo: Combat Evolved should be played as more than a straightforward run through ten missions. The harder cards expose just how carefully Bungie designed the original spaces. The beach at Silent Cartographer becomes a marine-protection exercise. The Library becomes a brutal time trial. Two Betrayals becomes a test of restraint in a level built around chaos.
The Terminals add a different kind of reward. They make the first Halo ring feel less like an isolated alien machine and more like a surviving fragment of a disaster that consumed the Forerunners. That lore reaches far beyond Combat Evolved, into the story of the Flood, the Didact, the Librarian and the moral catastrophe behind the Halo Array.
