Rally the Troops with Destiny 2 announcement video

Destiny 2 logo

Fans have been wanting it, naysayers have been saying they don't want it but EVERYBODY must see this announcement of Destiny 2.

This announcement will become fabled over time - a rallying call to arms from Cayde-6 and Zavala looms large over of a Cabal invasion which has destroyed the Tower.

That's right before Destiny 2 even starts, the Tower has been destroyed!

It's clear then that Bungie is shaking things up. Maybe even they are intended to deliver a story based campaign? There's no doubt they are going to do so following their excellent DLC campaigns in response to the muted initial campaign.

Bungie have also clearly listed to the fans and it's clear that Cayde-6 will be focal point of the game, a welcome gust of bravado.

Here's the official description of the game from Bungie:

"Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion.

He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities.

To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home."

Destiny 2 will release on September 8th 2017. Check out the prices on Amazon for Xbox, PC and PlayStation.

Cayde-6 walks into a bar

Here's the Destiny 2 reveal teaser.

While some wags may joke how it has more story than the original Destiny campaign, we know that Bungie made that right with the subsequent DLC campaigns. And we can also expect that the campaign of Destiny 2 will be brimming with tales about robots, rogues and galaxies far far away.

We love how Cayde-6 has become a popular focal point following the DLC. We wonder just how mixed up in your Guardians adventure that he will have.

The Top Ten Most Bad Ass Cosplay Villains

Every hero needs a counterpoint bad guy or gal.

Spider Man to Venom.

Superman to Lex Luthor

Batman to Joker.

Tank Girl to Kesslee.

David Dunn to Mr Glass.

The problem is, every man and his dog wants to play the hero. It takes a bit of guts (and perhaps a sense of one for the team) to play as the bad guy.

In the cosplay universe, it's a bit different where all kinds of villains and bad guys are up for cosplay action.

Here's what I think are the most bad add cosplay villains I've seen.

Beware the beautiful charms of Poison Ivy!

A classic Batman villain, Ivy is bad ass in that she uses her seduction tricks to get what she wants, and in doing so, humbles powerful men such as Bruce Wayne. Look for her in the Harley Quinn spin off, Gotham City Sirens.

Here's a certain Street Fighter cosplayer which is bad ass.

Megatron and Galvatron? Need we say more? These are two of the most evil bad as robots that ever fired a gun in the Transformers universe.

Mystique

In the X - Men trilogy, Mystique was portrayed as quite the bad ass - she'd do anything to further the mutant cause. Despite there being a lot of hate for Xmen: The Last Stand, I really enjoyed Mystique's performance, especially her willingness to get the job done at all costs.

Any others you think should be added to the list?

One ring to bind them - an awesome wedding ring that only a Halo fan would want...

There's Halo fans and then there's Halo fans.

I'll leave you to ponder what kind of person the owner of this wedding ring is...

The bearer of the ring is of course probably going to be one of the coolest people around!

Mass Effect Andromeda campaign reviews

It feels like an era has passed since Commander Sheppard and his band of space aliens finished their long campaign against the Reapers and the Star Child in Mass Effect 3.

At that trilogy finished (falteringly in some respects) video game players having been hanging out for a new Mass Effect campaign. And so we finally have Mass Effect 4: Andromeda. Set an actual era after the age of Sheppard's story, Andromeda is a whole new spin on Mass Effect whilst retaining the critical game play and story aspects that made the game such a best seller.

The reviews are in an Mass Effect Andromeda has charmed the critics. Reviews are extremely positive and it is well worth you considering buying it.
