Preparations for the London Olympics were frantic

The Mass Effect 3 trailer was released shortly before Christmas in 2010. A live action short, it features a soldier housed in London's Big Ben clock tower taking sniper shots at the invading Reaper enemy force. The soldier ponders that Earth need's Commander Sheppard, to which our perspective shifts to Sheppard himself observing Earth from space.
